Stegt Flaesk with parsley sauce


They know their pork in Denmark !


Fry thick bacon till crispy, about 1 kg

Boil peeled potatoes, about 1 kg

Prepare parsley sauce :

Melt 50 g of butter, mix with 4 tbsp flour

Add 4 dl milk and stir, heat sauce (do not boil)

Add 1 dl whipping cream

Add parsley 1-2 dl, simmer 5-10 mns

Pour sauce over cooked potatoes, arrange bacon on plate 

Salt and pepper to taste

Serves 4 hungry souls, might need to take a long walk after this meal !
